Implementation Rules
Mediation basis The Tiqets Distributor API is offered on ‘Mediation’ basis, meaning that the Distributor using the API is acting as an agent that mediates between the end-customer and the seller of the ticket. For more information, please refer to the terms and conditions for distribution that you received from your account manager.
UI Requirements The Distributor's user interface for checkout must comply with some requirements:
Pricing requirements. See the pricing section for more details;
The
must_knowandpre_purchaseadditional information texts as provided in the Product Checkout Information endpoint;A terms and conditions URL. This URL points the customer to the general terms and conditions, however, it should cover all points mentioned in Tiqets' terms and conditions (https://www.tiqets.com/en/terms).
End-consumer data
The end-consumer name must always be provided by the Distributor via the API (as this necessary to be printed on vouchers and be put on Supplier's guest lists).
End-consumer contact details (email, phone number, etc.) must be provided by the Distributor via the API. Only in cases explicitly agreed-upon between Tiqets and the Distributor shall the end-consumer contact details not be provided by the Distributor.Beware that the agreement to not provide customer data will impact the products exposed in the API!
During Distributor fulfillment
The unchanged Tiqets voucher (PDF format) – as provided via the Tiqets API – shall be fulfilled to the end-customer (in order to guarantee entrance for the end-customer, venue entrance personnel need to recognize the voucher).
Operational process
Refunds of confirmed orders are provided on a growing catalog of our products.
The sentence “Powered by Tiqets” and the logo of Tiqets shall be shown in the Distributor checkout and/or the Distributor booking confirmation message (page and email).
Marketing restrictions
The distributor must respect the marketing restrictions that our suppliers provide.
New Features
At any time, we may add new endpoints, additional request parameters, or response fields. We will sometimes announce this in advance, or sometimes afterward.
