Affiliate API Integration

Affiliate partners typically have their own media channels (website, social media account or otherwise) where they promote certain experiences. They often use our API to synchronize product information or to retrieve real-time reporting data. This approach allows you to retain full control over the customer-facing experience, while Tiqets manages the more complex elements, including booking, payment processing, and customer communication.

1. Linking to products

If you are looking to enrich your website or app with experiences, this approach enables you to integrate Tiqets' catalogue with minimal technical effort. You fetch product content through the Content API, and, if desired, real-time availability through the Availability API. Customers browsing your platform can view product information and availability; when they decide to book, you simply redirect them to Tiqets' secure checkout page. This ensures a seamless handover, where Tiqets manages payment processing, confirmation emails, upselling opportunities, and post-purchase customer support.

This method offers a quick and lightweight integration, ideal if you wish to avoid handling sensitive payment data or building your own checkout system. It also allows you to benefit from Tiqets' optimised checkout conversion rates, while delivering a rich and intuitive user experience on your platform.

2. Real-time Reporting

For partners already promoting Tiqets products, the Real-time Reporting option enables you to retrieve performance and commission data programmatically. By connecting to the Reporting API, you can access up-to-date information about your transactions, helping you to monitor sales performance and reconcile commissions efficiently. This data can be fed directly into your internal dashboards, analytics platforms, or CRM systems, giving you a live view of your sales activity and financial performance.

Booking API Integration

If you require full control over the customer experience, the Booking API integration offers a highly flexible solution. This approach allows you to fetch product content and live availability, present a fully branded checkout journey on your own platform, and process payments directly through your own payment gateway.

The Booking API integration gives you total ownership of the user journey and brand experience but requires a greater technical commitment. You are responsible for managing your own payment processing, ensuring compliance with relevant payment regulations, handling all aspects of customer support before and after the booking, and ensuring a smooth post-payment handover to Tiqets for booking fulfilment.
